Our first sweet corn of the season! Supper tonight will be wonderful! Chicken on the grill, sweet corn, and vanilla pudding with fresh raspberries for dessert!
The broccoli was pretty much gone this time. I paid $1 each for those two little bunches. The flavor last week was amazing, so I wanted it! The corn and broccoli are both from Hoekstra’s. Herman sang for us, but he has a bit of a cold this week. Let’s hope he feels better soon!
I am uncertain of the name of the gentleman we bought the carrots from, however they looked good. We will give them a whirl. We have purchased from him before.
The raspberries are from Polzin farms. The owners are such nice people! We had a nice chat with David today. They will be at the Greenfield farmers’ market tomorrow, and I believe they are at Brookfield on Saturday mornings before coming down to West Allis in the afternoon.
