Lizzy became interested in stamping last year. I don’t recall exactly how it came about, but she asked if she could make a card. Turns out she is very good at stamping, and has a pretty good grasp on the craft. As time goes by, she is learning more, and her cards are very nice. We don’t get to make cards during every visit, but sometimes we get the chance to make more than one!
This was Lizzy’s first Christmas Card. She chose to use Frosty, and with this card she learned about using markers to color on the stamp to make multi-colored images (the Happy Holidays). I forget what the lil snafu was toward the bottom, but that is where she learned that those are just opportunities for embellishments! We covered it up with ribbon (Shhh…don’t tell her I told you!). We were all really happy with the card.
