This recipe was found online. I don’t recall the website. It says it was inspired by The Novice Chef. I made these for Buster and Teddy (I think it was for Christmas last year.), and they really enjoyed them. 🙂

1/3 cup peanut butter
1 egg
2 Tablespoons honey or agave nectar
1 very ripe banana
1 cup old fashioned oats
1/2 cup wheat germ or flour

Preheat oven to 350F and prepare 2 baking sheets with parchment paper or cooking spray.

In a large bowl or food processor (It was a bit too much for my Bullet.), combine peanut butter, egg, banana, and honey. Mix/pulse until well combined.  Mix in oats and wheat germ.

With a spoon or cookie scoop (I used Pampered Chef’s smallest scoop.) drop dough (note: dough is pretty wet) onto prepared baking sheets. Bake for 15 minutes, until lightly brown.  Immediately after removing from the oven, press down on each cookie with a glass to flatten. Allow to cool on a wire rack. Store up to one week in Ziplock bags.
