Fall is such a wonderful time for baking. Apples and pumpkins are ready. There are so many yummy ways to use them. 🙂

I have seen this recipe on several websites, so I really have no idea who to give the credit to. However, if you love pumpkin desserts, this one is super easy and a family favorite. It is very rich, but OH SO YUMMY! 🙂

Pumpkin Dump Cake

1 15 oz can pumpkin
1 10 oz can evaporated milk
1 cup brown sugar
3 eggs
2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
1 box yellow cake mix
2 sticks of butter, melted
1 cup chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter the bottom and sides of a 9×13 cake pan (I spray it with Pam). In a large bowl combine the pumpkin, evaporated milk, brown sugar, eggs and pumpkin pie spice. Whisk until combined. Pour this mixture into the prepared pan. Sprinkle the cake mix powder on top of the batter as evenly as possible. Sprinkle the pecans evenly over the top of the cake mix. Pour the melted butter evenly over the top of the cake. Bake for 45-50 minutes, until the edges are browned and the center is set.
