On Saturday we had fun making ornaments for Lizzy’s teachers. We have done this for three years now, and her teachers have really liked them.

This project CAN get messy. We did have a small amount of spilled glitter, but Tim cleaned that up. Lizzy did get turquoise reinker all over her fingers. ā˜ŗ

We bought the ornaments at Michael’s (NOT a favorite place of mine but was convenient to get the ornaments). They were on sale for 50% off, so we only paid $2.50 for all six of them. šŸ™‚

Lizzy started off with 8 drops of reinker. I suggest 8-10 drops for ornaments this size.  Twist and turn the ornaments until the entire inside is covered with reinker. Any extra was drained onto a piece of paper toweling. Lizzy then added 1/8 teaspoon of glitter. We had her cover the opening with paper towel and shake it until it was covered with glitter. Then we put the top back on and added some twine. You may need to add more glitter.

This ornament used Stampin’ Up! Real Red reinker and red ultrafine glitter.

We think they are gorgeous!

Thank you for stopping by!
