This recipe is being shared all over Facebook. I decided that since it looked REALLY easy, I would give it a try. It is pretty yummy! The post on Facebook is shared from Couponing4you.
Butterfinger Cheesecake Pie
12 ounce container Cool Whip
8 ounce cream cheese
1 premade pie crust (I used Oreo.)
12.5 ounce bag Butterfinger candy bars, smashed (reserve 1/2 cup to sprinkle on top of pie)
Combine cream cheese and Cool Whip. Stir in pieces of Butterfinger.
Spread mixture into pie crust. Top with remaining 1/2 cup crushed Butterfingers.
Chill 2 hours before serving. Keep refrigerated.
Original recipe does note that you can use any candy bar. I smashed mine by putting them in a gallon Ziploc bag and used a rolling pin (Good idea Tim!).
