Tim and I knew we were going to be under a winter storm warning all day. We were at the grocery store last night to pick up lunch stuff for the week. We walked along the meat counter and picked up a nice top round roast. Tim decided to make it in the crock pot. It turned out AWESOME!


He rubbed the roast with Penzeys Frozen Pizza Seasoning and then seared/browned the roast in a Tablespoon or two of Fat Louie’s Sicilian Olive Oil.

He put it in the crock pot with one cup of water and one cup of Olive Garden’s salad dressing (We get this at Sam’s Club.). He had it on low for about six hours. It fell apart and the flavor was so good!

The carrots were coated with a combination of butter and raw honey. They were fabulous!
