We recently had the privilege of buying a pig from a friend of ours.  We have an entire freezer FULL of pork.  YUM!  This recipe is a great one for say a Sunday afternoon that you are going to be home. It is a crock pot recipe, but it only takes a few hours on high.  The pork chops were so tender, and the gravy was very tasty!  We served it with a veggie and some smashed taters from Mom’s garden.  This recipe will definitely get made again!  I found it at http://www.lazyoven.com/a-flavorsome-homestyle-crock-pot-pork-chops/2/

The gravy has a nice color to it due to the dry mustard, and it thickened nicely in the crock pot.  It had a really nice flavor to it. I didn’t add any additional seasonings.  Yum!

Flavorsome Homestyle Crock Pot Pork Chops
1/2 cup flour
1 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
6-8 boneless pork chops
2 Tablespoons oil
1 10.5 ounce can chicken broth

Spray crock pot with cooking spray.
Mix flour, dry mustard, salt and garlic in a dish. Lightly coat the pork chops. Set aside remaining mixture for use later. Pour oil into a skillet and brown the pork chops over medium-high heat. Mix the chicken broth with the remaining breading mixture and pour into crock pot. Place pork chops in crock pot. Cover and cook on high for 2 1/2 hours.
