Hello everyone! I need to get this post typed up quick! The boss just old us that we can start the holiday weekend early today! YAY!
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend celebrating the freedoms that we have here in the United States. We are truly blessed!
I made a set of cards to share with our church’s shut-ins. I send them once a month, and they have been very well received. This month I sent out some fireworks cards. A lot of communities in our area are not having fireworks due to Covid. That’s ok. I have some on cards!
I stamped the Happy 4th sentiment in the middle first. Then I made a mask for it by stamping it on a post it note, cutting it down to size and then putting it over the words before stamping the fireworks. This assured me that the fireworks wouldn’t stamp over the words. I could have also used my Stamp-a-ma-jig.
This card uses a very retired stamp set as well as a retired ink and card stock color. Please excuse the Stickles smudges. I was having some issues tracing the stars. Good grief getting older and the issues that come with that is not for the weak.
